McCall Service Goes International to Support Military Base

McCall Service is no stranger to supporting the men and women who serve this country. The team has always looked for ways to give back locally to those who sacrifice so much, frequently participating in cookouts, donations, and pest services to their military bases. That didn’t change when McCall’s Commercial Account Executive, Jerry Hall, received a call that the U.S. Naval Station in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, needed an emergency mosquito fogging service. The team quickly got together to see what they could do to support them.

After a couple of days of organizing travel and equipment, a few McCall teammates, including John Cooksey and Branch Manager Steven Murray, jumped on a plane, and headed to Cuba for 14 days. Hours after the team arrived, they were on the ground, installing equipment, and servicing the Naval Base!

“I must admit, spending Memorial Day in Guantanamo Bay was something we will never forget.” Steve Murray expressed. “People were waving and clapping as we fogged their neighborhoods and were just generally excited to see us there to help them. It made this job one of the most memorable experiences in my career.”

The entire McCall team is so grateful to have had this opportunity to support the men and women at the U.S. Naval Station in Guantanamo Bay. The team looks forward to working with the Naval Station in the future!
