This past March, twelve McCall teammates, from all different teams, came together and volunteered with Feeding Northeast Florida, an organization that serves to end hunger in 8 Northeast Florida Counties. The team was able to give 2.5 hours of their time, which resulted in 11,708 pounds of potatoes to be packaged. The efforts of the team will create 9,757 meals for those in the area!
Feeding Northeast Florida believes in breaking the cycle of poverty through access to quality food resources and education necessary to increase family stability. They work with local businesses and grocery retailers to collect food donations, which results in feeding 85,000 people every day. Through the generosity of the surrounding community, they are able to purchase anything extra they may need.
