We do a thorough initial inspection of the entire home, focusing on areas where pests like to harbor, such as kitchens, attics, and crawl spaces. On the interior, we use preventative measures like bait and dust applications under appliances to prevent pests from entering your home.
Gel bait will be used on pipes under the sink in the kitchen and bathrooms. We will also use accessible switch plates, outlet covers, cable plates, etc. to get dust applications into the wall void.
When possible, we always try to use the least invasive products first and utilize compressed air for inspections and a vacuum to remove any live pests.
We inspect the base of your home and look for cracks in the slab, wood-to-ground contact, piled mulch around your foundation, and other favorable conditions. We also treat this area with a long-lasting liquid insecticide sprayed in targeted areas.
We inspect for cracks in doors and windows, trees that touch the top of the roof, and potential moisture leaks like gutters and drains. Then, we continue to use targeted application of spray insecticides and remove wasp nests, mud daubers, and spiders up to 10 feet. Finally, we remove all spider webs from the exterior of the home.
We use a granular bait to treat your plant and flower beds and penetrate mulch, pine bark, and pine straw areas where pests may be hiding. Too much moisture, overgrown plants, and thatch or mulch can be attractive to pests.
We perform a visual inspection of other areas around the home that could be conducive to a pest infestation, such as tree lines or wooded areas, trash piles, drainage ditches, or other standing bodies of water.
McCall home pest control program is based on a whole-home, interior, and exterior Integrated Pest Management Plan. We specifically target five areas (zones) around your home and point out conditions that might be attractive to potential pests.
