Mark Ruff, founder of MHR Law, has been involved in pest control litigation for almost two decades. He is recognized as an authority on pest control lawn and has given numerous presentations and led panel discussions for the Florida Pest Management Association as well as various state and regional associations.

Professor of Structural Pest Control and Professor of Urban Entomology at University of Florida. Dr. Koehler has received numerous accolades and is well known for his research in urban entomology and structural pest control, including research on mosquitoes, bed bugs, flies, cockroaches, termites, and ants.
Assistant Professor in Urban Entomology at Florida A&M University. Before teaching at Florida A&M, Dr. Hottel was a Quality Control Supervisor at American Pest and at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.

After you grab some great food, head down to the "Hot Room" where we will demo a thermal remediation set up, as well as show off a Hot House Chamber for treating small rooms with heat.

Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration will discuss their experiences with bed bugs in assisted living facilities.
12:30 - 1:30 Mark Ruff, P.A.
Hear from an attorney on how to keep you and your company out of the court room, when dealing with bed bugs. Mark will walk through some of the common legal issues with this pest.

Dr. Hottel will discuss a monitoring project he completed in public housing as well as research he completed on bed bug behavior.
