Ah the joys of the holidays! There’s nothing like the aromatic scent of stuffing cooking while you are preparing a big holiday feast! We thought it was a good idea to share a very simple and yet delicious recipe for stuffing that will go perfectly with your holiday dinner.

1 pinch salt
1 pinch black pepper

1. Moisten the bread with water then add onion, seasoning, salt and pepper.
2. Mix together with hands.
3. Place in foil wrap (or the turkey) and cook for at least an hour.
Stuffing may be a delightful mix of all kinds of tasty spices and herbs but one thing you do not want to accidentally toss in the mix are pantry pests! We’re talking about the many stored product pests including cigarette beetles, drugstore beetles, flour beetles, Indian meal moths, and rice weevils which are all potentially lurking in your pantry.
Before you rummage through to find your spices and herbs make sure that you inspect all of your pantry items to ensure they are pest free and also that they are not past their date. A good cleaning of the cupboards is also a great idea and don’t forget to seal any food that is already open! And when you head to the grocery store to get any ingredients make sure that you are checking all packaged food for signs of damage or any critters.
