No, we're not talking about Adam West and Burt Ward, television's first Batman and Robin. Florida's Dynamic Duo is subterranean and drywood termites. Together, these two home wreckers pack a punch. "Blaaaaam!"
"Holy cellulose eaters, Batman!"
One prefers hardwood, and the other prefers softwood. Together they are an unstoppable force of wood-chewing madness! This is worse than the time the Joker tried to take over the city.
Subterranean termites: These termites build their nests in the soil next to your home, or in wall voids and attic spaces. The dreaded Formosan subterranean termite never has to leave your home. It can stay inside and feed on the wood of your house 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! These little devourers prefer soft, springwood fibers.
Drywood termites: These termites will eat both soft springwood and the harder summerwood. What matters most is that it is dry. Once they get in your home they never stop eating. Fortunately, there is something else they don't stop doing. While subterranean termites use their feces to coat tunnels and nests, drywood termites create exit holes and push their dropping out. You may find these hard pepper-like droppings on window sills or on the floor.
"How will we protect the city?"
While Batman and Robin may be great for taking out a crime syndicate, they are pretty useless against termites. Sorry, fellas. If you need to protect your home from termites call McCall Service. The most powerful tool on our utility belt is the Sentricon® Termite Colony Elimination System. This advanced bait system uses worker ants to poison their own colony. It's sort of like mind control. Hey, heroes can use mind control too! What is important to understand here is that when the queen termite dies, the colony dies with it.
"To the Batmobile!"
When McCall Service is on the job you won't have to wonder who is walking around in your yard. We always wear our costumes, and we always drive clearly marked vehicles with the green McCall Service logo on the side. Sorry, we don't wear capes.
"Look! Up in the sky! It's the Bat signal!"
You don't need a Bat signal to contact McCall Service. We make it easy by giving you a convenient phone number to call. Give us a call at (888) 409-0938, and we'll over in a flash.
